While attending law school, Kalani worked for numerous legal organizations dedicated to helping the public. These experiences built a strong drive in Kalani to help people in need. This same devotion to those less fortunate carried over into his private practice.
In 1998, Kalani moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to start his legal career. Kalani worked for a small law firm, defending criminal matters, as well as prosecuting plaintiff personal injury cases. Kalani had successfully handled numerous felony and misdemeanor cases before forming his own office with Scott Eichhorn. Of note, in December 2007, Kalani successfully defended a client charged with open Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon and Robbery with the Use of a Deadly Weapon. This client was found not guilty on all counts.
