 Meet Attorney Scott P. Eichhorn

Scott Eichhorn was raised in the Midwest where he was instilled with a strong work ethic and an appreciation for hard work.  In 1994, he graduated summa cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University with a degree in Political Science, and was selected as a New Mexico Fellow.  In 1997, Scott graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law at Albuquerque; moved to Nevada to begin his professional career; and was admitted to the practice of law in Nevada.  In the same year, Scott was admitted to the federal bar in Nevada.

In 1997 and 1998, Scott began his legal career working for a small, general practice firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Thereafter, in 1999, Scott clerked with the First Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas, where he learned appellate practice.  During the same year, Scott was admitted to the District of Columbia bar.  Next, Scott practiced constructional defect litigation and insurance defense in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Later, Scott served as Deputy Legislative Counsel for the Nevada Legislature during the 71st Regular Session and the 17th Special Session of the Nevada Legislature.  From 2002 to mid-2004, Scott served as a Deputy Public Defender with the Elko County Public Defender's Office in Elko, Nevada.  From mid-2004 to late 2006, Scott worked at a criminal defense and personal injury firm in Las Vegas, Nevada, as an Associate Attorney.

Meet Attorney Kalani K. Hoo

Kalani spent most of his childhood between the San Francisco Bay Area and Pearl City, Hawaii.  He graduated from Carlmont High School in San Carlos, California.  In 1995, he attended the University of California at Davis, majoring in English and Sociology.  In 1998, he graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California.  In 1998, Kalani was admitted to the practice of law in Nevada.  In 2002, he was admitted to the federal bar in Nevada.

While attending law school, Kalani worked for numerous legal organizations dedicated to helping the public.  Kalani worked for the East Palo Alto Community Law Project, Legal Aid of San Diego, and the Utility Consumers Action Network, providing legal aid to indigents and other special needs clients.  These experiences built a strong drive in Kalani to help people in need. This same devotion to those less fortunate carried over into his private practice.

In 1998, Kalani moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to start his legal career. Kalani worked for a small law firm, defending criminal matters, as well as prosecuting  plaintiff personal injury cases.  Kalani had successfully handled numerous felony and misdemeanor cases before forming his own office with Scott Eichhorn.  Of note, in December 2007, Kalani successfully defended a client charged with open Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon and Robbery with the Use of a Deadly Weapon. This client was found not guilty on all counts.
